National Assessment Due
Once again this year, the National Constitution Party is requesting each state pay their annual assessment of $1000. As the host for the spring National Committee Meeting, we would like to see this paid before the national party leadership comes to town. Due to campaign reporting regulations (and a low account balance), we cannot pay this amount directly from the state treasury, so we are asking for some of our members to step forward and cover this amount. All it will take is for ten members to put forward $100 each, and our annual assessment will be covered for 2010.
We know there are supporters out there who are willing and able to donate money for specific causes, so this request is directed to you. This money will go directly to the National Committee of the Constitution Party to fund party operations and initiatives like obtaining signatures for ballot access in remaining states (every state has different rules regarding ballot access, some requiring many thousands of signatures) or assisting high-profile campaigns like Illinois senatorial candidate, Randy Stuffelbeam, or California gubernatorial candidate. Our Executive Committee has declared that, for anyone who has not paid their 2010 party dues, a payment of $100 or more toward this assessment will qualify them as having paid their state party membership.
